Black Gold Carpet Cleaning St Kilda is your local carpet cleaning specialist and a local family owned and operated business. As we are fully IICRC qualified we offer great service and results every time. Servicing all areas of Melbourne, including East St Kilda, 3183 and St Kilda South. Whether it is a new purchase, an end of lease or simply a spring clean we can help make it, just that little bit less stressful.
We recommend hot water extraction (carpet steam cleaning) as the preferred method of carpet cleaning. Most agents and landlords also prefer this type of cleaning, especially for end of lease, as it is the most thorough method of washing your carpet. We offer both truck mounted and portable hot water extraction machines, so access is no problem for houses, apartments, businesses or units. All of our quotes include pre inspection, pre spray, spot treatment, steam cleaning, deodourisng and GST. Some processes and treatments for stains are additional costs as is fabric protection. We ask that you pre vacuum (or we can add this onto your service for a small additional charge) and move smaller and breakable items out of the way before we come.
We love our neighbourhood and the planet, so we make sure our detergents are environmentally friendly and locally manufactured. As a result, this ensures the safety of your family and pets. Where ever possible we source locally distributed cleaning supplies and equipment, to reduce our carbon footprint.
Moving out of your rental property? We can clean your carpet and make sure you get your bond back and leave you and your Property Manager happy! Thinking about selling your home? make sure you clean your carpet for optimum returns on auction day. Stain? What stains? We remove the stains and spots others leave behind! Finally we also offer commercial carpet cleaning at very competitive rates. Shops, offices, schools, clubs and cafes can all benefit from our service.

Did you know that St Kilda was named by Charles La Trobe, after a Schooner called the “Lady of St Kilda“? This schooner originally belonged to Thomas Acland, who sold it to Jonathon Pope from Plymouth. The ship sailed to Australia in 1841 and was moored in the area for most of the year. The schooner was named after Lady Grange. She was imprisoned by her husband on an island in the St Kilda Archipelago off the Western coast of Scotland, in 1734-40.
